Khan Academy is a great online learning recourse. It has a large selection of classes in math, science, computing, arts and humanities, and reading and language arts. It also has great SAT practice quizes. Students learn and practice at their own pace and get help from recorded videos. Khan Academy is completely free.
EdX is a great website that offers free college courses from universities and companies. There is a huge selection of classes on EdX. Some classes are taught live, while others are pre-recorded and self paced. Some courses offer an official certificate for completing the class for some money. This is a great place to take challenging classes for free.
Coursera is a website with a great selection of online courses. Many courses are from universities. You are able to audit classes for free, but to get a certificate and to have access to all graded assignments, you must have a membership. Coursera certificates are a great addition to your resume.
